Assalamualaikum

my first question is

1. are we allowed to wear the colour black because my mother in law does not let me wear it because she thinks it bad luck?

2.is coca cola Halaal because I have heard that it contains extracts from pork.

Answer:

 Fatwaa no.  043/07

1: We are allowed to wear the colour black and this is not a sign of bad luck.

2: In South Africa the Coca Cola is Halaal according to majority of the Ulama and they have not found any Haraam substance in it up until now, unfortunately we do not have any information or research about the Coca Cola which is found in the U.K. You should contact the Ulama in the U.K. for that.
