Question: Assalamualaikum,
If a man says to his wife:
"I don't want to be with you anymore."
Does a divorce take place? The man mentions that he
never made an intention of divorce but instead he meant he didn't want to be
with her at that time.

Answer: Fatwaa no. 105/07
